At Blood in the Water, we saw the shocking return of Adam Brooks, who immediately tried to make amends with the MCW faithful for his actions at the end of last year.
But new MCW GM Rocky Menero wasn’t having it, insisting that Brooks needed to properly show that he’s a changed man after abandoning the company in 2022.
Almost immediately, Brooks made great steps when he saved Menero from Edward Dusk, and in the process entered himself into the sacrament. But while Brooks had heart on his side, it just wasn’t enough to beat Dusk in a match that he created himself.
Dusk sent an ominous warning to Adam Brooks, saying the sacrament isn’t a place for him to run around playing a hero, and has promised that there is more suffering left for him to face, inviting back into his world at High Stakes with an incentive.
Raising the stakes, the winner will guarantee their entry into the 2023 Ballroom Brawl on Saturday 8th July. But for the lower, they will be denied entry into the match altogether.
