High Stakes – Slex vs. Eli Theseus

Have the chickens come home to roost for The Parea?

At MCW 12 this past November, The Family dramatically split apart, as The Parea unexpectedly turned on Rocky Menero leading to Menero suffering the indignity of a stone burial at the Thornbury Theatre.

Now, a few months on, the landscape has changed.

At Blood in the Water, The Parea won a classic match against The Untouchables, and have proclaimed themselves The Kings of MCW – with their eyes set on the MCW Tag Team titles.

Meanwhile, Rocky Menero has returned as the new MCW General Manager quickly laying his cards on the table for the upcoming High Stakes event.

Case in point, he’s made a match for The Parea’s Eli Theseus to face the man who’s possibly achieved the most in MCW history, and one of the holders of the MCW Tag Team Championship – Slex.

Yes, Eli Theseus is one of the best tag team wrestlers in the country right now, but can he match up against a man whose single record stacks up against anyone?

To make things even more interesting, Rocky Menero has added the following stakes to the match – whoever wins the match is entered into the 2023 Ballroom Brawl match, but whoever loses is out of the match altogether.

Slex has been a mainstay of the Ballroom Brawl match, entering the match 4 times in his career, while Eli Theseus made his Ballroom Brawl debut last year, but along with his partner Gabriel Aeros, he has real momentum on his side.

No matter who wins, it’s going to have shocking ramifications for the future, especially for the MCW Tag Team Championship.

You hold the fate at High Stakes – Saturday 3rd June at the Thornbury Theatre.
