Following his win over Zhan Wen at Blood in the Water, the Taiga – Tome Filip – returns to further prove that this next step in his career is going to be as impactful in MCW as his many successes in the tag team ranks. But while he successfully faced a formidable challenge in Zhan, at High Stakes he may have an even tougher challenge to face.
We haven’t seen ‘Absolute Excellence’ Anth Cava in the MCW ring for a little while, and in his absence he’s only grown more determined to prove that he’s ready for the big time. To Cava, the Taiga is just another body in his way.
It’s a match that both men needs to take seriously – in one corner, a decorated champion trying to make his mark as a singles competitor; in the other corner, a highly regarded up and comer ready to show the world that his time is now.
And in case the stakes weren’t already high enough for both men, the winner will be entered into the Ballroom Brawl, while the loser misses out entirely. It’s an opportunity that’s crucial for both Filip and Cava, and they both know it.
That should mean only one thing for the MCW Faithful – a battle that promises to deliver.
Don’t miss MCW High Stakes – 3rd June, at the Thornbury Theatre!
