The biggest event of the MCW year is fast approaching – the Ballroom Brawl!
This year, we already know of two big matches that you don’t want to miss.
The annual Ballroom Brawl match will see 20 competitors compete in an over-the-top battle royale with the last person standing receiving an opportunity to challenge the MCW World Heavyweight Champion at any time in the following 12 months.
The number you hold can change your chances in the match, so who will manage to get the coveted #20 slot, and who will have the increased challenge after drawing #1?
Just as exciting is finding out who will take part in the match, and following the events of High Stakes on Saturday 3rd June, who will have their chances dashed before the event even takes place.
The list of previous Ballroom Brawl winners is long and impressive, with names like Mitch Waterman, Adam Brooks, Bronson Reed, Duke Hudson and Buddy Matthews all standing tall at the end of the match.
But the other big match is one that the entire wrestling world will be having a keen eye on – the MCW World Heavyweight Champion Buddy Matthews returns to face the unique challenge of Tommy Knight.
The two men have never met in the ring before, and it’ll be a test between one of Australia’s fastest rising talents against an Australian who has done it all on the global stage.
