DELTA (C) vs. Cherry Stephens
The last few months have been the most impressive of DELTA’s already impressive career!
In September 2022, at New Horizons she ostensibly took then Women’s Champion Jessica Troy to the limit as they competed to a hard-fought draw.
But that limit was then broken as DELTA and Troy returned for their rematch at MCW 12 this past November in a 30-minute Ironwoman match!
It was DELTA who won the Women’s Championship 5 falls to 4 in a main event for the ages.
At The House Always Wins in February, DELTA answered Jake Andrewartha’s Final Boss challenge and made the big man tap out to a roar of approval from the MCW faithful.
In the meantime, Cherry Stephens has been riding her own wave of momentum over the last few months.
With a victory in the over-the-top Battle Royal at Colosseum last October, Cherry then followed that up victory with a sensational Ballroom Blitz win at MCW 12.
Eliminating Steph De Lander in the final moments of the match, she became the number one contender for the MCW Women’s Championship!
With a few new pages added into her playbook, the studious one enters 2023 with a wave of confidence.
Now at Blood In the Water on April 8, the MCW Women’s Championship will be on the line as DELTA defends her championship for the very first time against the No.1 Contender – Cherry Stephens.
Both competitors are certainly on a roll.
DELTA might be considered the stronger competitor of the two, but Cherry may just have the advantage when it comes to speed & technical wrestling.
This is going to be a battle between two of the very best women in Australia today.
Don’t miss it!
