There’s been no love lost between Edward Dusk and Ricky South in recent months.
They first clashed in the 2024 Ballroom Brawl match; Dusk managed to last until the last three in the ring, only for South to throw him over the top rope on his way to winning the match.
At Vendetta the two men went at it one on one, only for Ricky to once again emerge as the victor, much to Dusk’s frustration. And then at Fight to Survive, both men were counted out as they brawled through the crowd and into the backstage corridors of the Thornbury Theatre.
Clearly, the two men do not like each other at all, and while so far South has come away with the wins, there’s still a score that needs to be settled between the two.
Now Edward Dusk has challenged Ricky South for one final match; one match where the winner can truly say that he is the better man.
The only thing is, Dusk is preparing to go back into the Sacrament!
We haven’t seen Dusk in a Sacrament match since the main event of End Game 2023, where Dusk and Adam Brooks battled for over half an hour in a truly brutal fight, only for Brooks to finally get a win against Dusk.
Since his loss, Dusk had seemingly retired the Sacrament, instead preferring to test his skills in a more traditional form.
But at End Game, the timer for the Sacrament will start once more – 15 minutes where all rules are discarded, and it’s truly anything goes.
Does Ricky South know what he’s in for? He’s known as The Example for a reason, but this is uncharted territory for the big man, and that’s always a risky scenario for anyone.
Perhaps the real question is does Dusk still have the darkness that drives him to new depths in the Sacrament within him?
Can he still access the twisted mind that made him unlike anyone else in MCW?
The biggest event of the year – MCW End Game – will be at the Melbourne Pavilion on Sunday 8th December.
