It’s fair to say that 2020 has hit everyone hard, and we at MCW are no different. What was set to be our biggest in-ring year ever has instead seen us on pause. But there is light at the end of the tunnel, and we’ve got a lot of activity planned.

We’ve taken this time to reflect on the history of MCW, look at the current landscape of professional wrestling, and develop a plan which we believe will create the best and brightest future we can for everyone within MCW and the fans supporting us going forward.

While it’s extremely unlikely that we’ll be having any live events for the rest of 2020, we anticipate that in early 2021 we’ll back. To that end, we’re currently working with the Thornbury Theatre to finalise our 2021 schedule; as soon as we can release it, we’ll let you know.

But that’s not all – we’ll soon be launching a new MCW membership program that will give members a range of benefits and exclusives; the new MCW website will be live very soon; the MCW Academy has moved to its new location, and is already training the current and next generation of MCW stars via virtual lessons. Oh, have you checked out the new MCW podcast – #MCWWired – yet?

Most of all, while this year has been hard, and certainly not what we planned, we appreciate the ongoing support of MCW fans. We know that many of you are doing it tough too, yet many of you have taken the time to reach out to us, for this we are sincerely grateful.

Our mission is that when we are able to return, in our 10th Anniversary year no less, that we can put on events with the environment, momentum & entertainment you expect in order to repay you all for your support.

That’s why we know in 2021, the The Thornbury Theatre will be as full as possible and the best wrestlers from Melbourne, Australia and beyond will be in the ring for you all. We’re excited about the future, and we hope you are too!
