On the face of it, you’d look at this match and think it’s a standard tag team bout – nothing out of the ordinary. And yes, at face value, you’d be right. But dig a little deeper, and there’s something at the heart of this that’s going to test every competitor’s will.
Welcome to MCW, Ari Nicole. She suddenly appeared on the stage following Erika Reid’s win at Clash of the Titans, and made it clear that she wanted Erika in the ring.
But those of you with good memories remember that Ari was meant to make her MCW debut back at Anniversary at the start of the year, but suffered an injury in the lead-up. Now, many months later, Ari gets to complete her unfinished business, and finally have her first MCW match. She knows all too well just how important it is to make a big impression first up.
Actually, someone else who knows how important it is happens to be Ari’s partner in this match, Alyssa Webb. The Peruvian luchadora made a big impact on debut at Clash of the Titans, having a great match with Reid. But she also has her own unfinished business, as while she quickly won over the MCW faithful, she’s still looking for her first win. At End Game, she may show that she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get it.

On the other side of the ring is someone else who is hungry for a win, mainly because she’s hoping to ride the wave of momentum that gets her closer to what she really wants.
There’s not much that Erika Reid hasn’t done in MCW; she’s been a success for her entire tenure. But Erika knows that following her war with Caity Luxe, she needs to win her way back into championship contention. After all, getting the chance to avenge her championship loss is the unfinished business that drives Erika at the moment, and a win here gets her even closer to her goal.
But of course, Erika’s partner in this match is the MCW Women’s Champion herself, and the person who defeated Erika to claim it, Shay Kassidy. And you might think that as a hugely popular champion, she’s the only one who doesn’t have unfinished business, but you’d be wrong.
Shay may be the champion, but she needs a definitive win over Erika to silence any doubters. She knows that Caity Luxe played a part in her victory, so a clean win over Erika really will stamp her authority on the championship, and the entire women’s division.
Four women, all with their own motivations driving them towards success.
At End Game, who will achieve their goal?
Don’t miss MCW’s final event of the year on Saturday 7th November at the Thornbury Theatre.
