Since he reclaimed the Intercommonwealth Championship, Adam Brooks has had a clear goal – to face the best young talent in the country.
He defeated Robbie Thorpe to win the championship. We’ve seen him go up against Ryan Rapid. He’s faced Lucky O’Leary. And now he’s got a challenge unlike any other he’s seen.
Since Brooksy turned his back on the ICON$, he’s been enjoying the support of the MCW faithful once again, successfully defending the Intercommonwealth Championship against Ryan Rapid and Lucky O’Leary.
He’s also scheduled to defend the title across the Tasman at SPW (Southern Pro Wrestling) against Liam Fury – a clash that could have major ramifications for Vendetta.
When Tuckman debuted at High Stakes in 2024, he made an immediate impact, and in one night became an instant favourite with the crowd.
He may be a simple guy, but the crowd loved the beer-drinking, wise-cracking youngster, and they’ve never stopped loving him.
So how is Brooksy going to fare when he’s not just fighting the man in front of him, but also fighting the crowd to get the most support? It’s a unique situation that may just tip the scales in Tucky’s favour.
But just to make things even more interesting, MCW General Manager Rocky Menero has spiced it up by adding ‘The Clydesdale’ to watch over things – stating that the match will end by his hand only.
If there’s one thing we’ve quickly learnt about Clyde is that he’s not afraid to break a few rules (or blindside a partner) to get ahead.
How will that attitude gel with him being appointed to keep law and order? We honestly don’t know.
The one thing we do know is that a packed Thornbury Theatre is going to be hot for this one!
