A first time match up with a huge stake on the line.
At first glance, there’s not much in common between Aysha and Shay Kassidy. Aysha prides herself as being above all others; there’s a reason why she calls herself First Class after all, but there’s also a lot of truth to it.
She really is as good as she says she is, and every single time she competes in MCW, she makes an immediate impact.
Meanwhile there are few wrestlers whose stock has risen quite as fast as Shay Kassidy. When she debuted in MCW as part of the Backslide Girlz, she was seen as a bit of a joke.

But it didn’t take long for people to understand that while she had a unique style, in the ring she was the real deal. And with every single match, she’s getting better and better, and people are really starting to notice.
But here’s the thing that unites both Aysha and Shay – they both want to become a champion in MCW. Aysha has had her chances to win the MCW Women’s Championship before, most recently at High Stakes where she came close against Eugenie.
But almost having the championship in her grasp has only made her more determined to win the gold at her next opportunity. No matter who holds the championship, if Aysha is across the ring, they’re in for a tough time.
Conversely, Shay has never had the chance to challenge for the belt, and she feels that her time has come. She’s heard how the industry has praised her, but praise only goes so far; to take that next step, Shay needs to become a champion.
And that’s what makes this match so fascinating – both women have very clear motivations to win and become the #1 contender for the MCW Women’s Championship; both Eugenie and Erika Reid should be paying a lot of attention to this match.
But ultimately the key question is simple – who wants it more?
At Vendetta, we’ll find out!
