Vendetta 2024 – Ryan Rapid vs. Mitch Waterman

By Dan Steadman

With his victory against his former mentor Mick Moretti at Ballroom Brawl, Ryan Rapid is not just a free man once again, but he now has the motivation to show the MCW faithful that he’s ready to not just live up to his potential but exceed it.

And there’s no better way to go about it than by pitting yourself against the best.

In the Ballroom Brawl match, Rapid seemingly had his eyes on former MCW World Heavyweight Champion Mitch Waterman, as they fought repeatedly throughout the Brawl, until they eliminated each other.

There’s obviously some remaining bad blood between the two since they fought at MCW ICON$ earlier in the year, with Waterman overcoming the Shadow Alley odds and getting the win.

But with Rapid no longer part of Shadow Alley, this looks to be a different kind of match, as both men look to fight in a fairer test of their skills.

Possibly the element that is harder to figure out is Waterman’s motivations.

He’s been on a roll since his return at Anniversary in February, but he’s yet to truly make his intentions clear. Is he looking to get his hands on championship gold once more? Only he knows right now.

No matter each man’s reasoning, this is going to be a hell of a match!

MCW Vendetta is live from the Thornbury Theatre on Saturday 7th September.

Only standing room tickets remain at MCWTix.com.au

This event is suitable for all ages.
