We’ve said before that there’s a new generation of talent rising up through the ranks at present, and that couldn’t be exemplified more than with the Triple Threat we have for you at New Horizons.
And here’s the thing, all three men in the match have proved over the last few months just why they should be getting the spotlight.
JJ Furno is coming off a reputation making match against Adam Brooks for the Intercommonwealth Championship at Anniversary, where he not only held his own against the Loose Ledge, but he truly looked like he belonged.
Sure, he didn’t quite get the win, but against an opponent of Brooks’ calibre, just getting close to winning is a sign that things are heading in the right direction.
Meanwhile at End Game, Magnus Kolbeck really made a name for himself in the 15-man battle royale, where he single-handedly eliminated 9 men, falling only to Mikey Broderick once they were the last two men remaining.
It was an impressively dominant performance and immediately got people wondering what he could in a more traditional match.
And then there’s Nate Hunter, who put up a good showing in the 6-Man Scramble match at Fight to Survive back in October last year, but he might still be looking for that singular breakout performance that will make the MCW faithful properly take notice of him. But what better way to do that than by winning against two other bright young stars?
All three men are going to be hungry to win here, as this could be just what they need to not only become MCW mainstays, but make the rest of the locker room understand just what they’re dealing with.
