It may have taken some unexpected help from an unlikely source in the form of Adam Brooks, but at Anniversary, Jarvis got his first win over an ICON. And it was a big scalp that he captured, as he won against MCW General Manager Rocky Menero.
But that win was just the start of Jarvis’ crusade – he’s out to defeat all of the ICON$, and he’s got his next target square in his sights.
While Anniversary was a night of success for Jarvis, for Robbie Thorpe, it was very different indeed.
The big Englishman lost his Intercommonwealth Championship to the aforementioned Brooks, despite him trying to get reassurance from Menero that he’d stay champ. And now he’s got a different problem on the horizon, as Jarvis has made it known that he wants Thorpe in the ring next at High Stakes.
After all, it was Thorpe who publicly berated Jarvis at End Game, only for Jarvis to finally snap and lay out Thorpe in the middle of the ring.

Now they meet in a one-on-one match for the very first time, and it’s going to be a fascinating clash. Thorpe has size and strength on his side; Jarvis has speed and agility on his, while interestingly they have the same amount of experience.
Perhaps the difference maker will be the intangibles – Jarvis is on a roll, and he is enjoying the new found support of the crowd, while Thorpe needs to bounce back from his biggest loss to date.
With the addition of the Big Wheel which will determine the stakes for the match, it could dramatically change the game plan for both competitors at our most unpredictable night of the year!
No matter what happens, this is going to be a match that will showcase two of the hottest prospects in MCW and set the direction for both men well into 2025.
High Stakes is live from the Thornbury Theatre on Saturday 17th May.
