Preview by Dan Steadman
You’d be forgiven for thinking that two hot new talents could have a fair bit in common, but when it comes to The Tuckman and Lucky O’Leary, that’s not really the case.
In The Tuckman, you’ve got a guy who is as straightforward as they come – he loves to wrestle, he loves to drink, and he loves his fans – not necessarily in that order either.
Since he burst onto the MCW scene earlier this year, he’s become an instant favourite with the MCW faithful, and it’s not hard to see why. Put simply, he’s just a lot of fun!
And no matter what, he’s determined to share that fun with the either audience. And yet, we know that he’s searching for a big win to really truly cement himself in the hearts of the fanbase.
On the other hand, you have Lucky O’Leary. Here’s a guy that clearly has a lot of talent in the ring, but he’s still waiting for that one big breakout performance.
And here’s the thing, we think the MCW faithful are waiting for that breakout too; we’ve heard how his reactions have changed over the last few months – he’s getting more and more support with every match. Just imagine what it’ll be like if he manages to finally get that win he’s been waiting for.
Now at Fight to Survive they go one on one for the first time, and after The Tuckman made fun of Lucky’s entrance at Vendetta, there’s also a bit of feeling behind this one.
So, you have a huge fan favourite vs a guy on the precipice of winning over the entire fan base. It’s a match that both men need to win, and it’s a match that could be a turning point for either of them.
Fight to Survive 2024 is live from the Thornbury Theatre on Saturday 19th October.
