The finals are set in the MCW Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders tournament, and it’s fair to say that no-one predicted this final showdown!
On one hand, you have a team that came together through mutual respect after they faced each other in the ring multiple times – Mitch Waterman and Ryan Rapid.
The originally unlikely allies have proved that their partnership is much more than one of convenience – they have shown they’re a true team.
That was made very evident at High Stakes as Mitch came out to wish Ryan luck in his attempt to wrest the Intercommonwealth Championship from Adam Brooks.
And while Ryan was ultimately unsuccessful in that attempt, he won the respect from not just the MCW Faithful in the crowd, but everyone in the locker room.

Now you combine such a huge emerging talent with a former MCW World Heavyweight Champion in Mitch Waterman, and you have a team that’s hard to bet against.
On the other side of the ring however, you have a very new team that might exemplify nothing more than sheer chaos. After Carlo Cannon and Zhan Wen couldn’t compete, we saw Anth Cava team with The Clydesdale to stun The Physicals and go onto the final.
The match showed that ‘Dale and Cava might not see eye to eye on, well, anything, but their strength and energy make them a difficult team to contend with no matter who you are.
Throw in their innate unpredictability, and this becomes a really hard one to call.
No matter who gets their hand raised in the final at Ballroom Brawl, there’s going to be an incredibly tough team for the current champions, The Parea, to deal with.
We hope they’re prepared!
