Last October at PWA x MCW Colosseum, The Parea proved that they were the real deal when they won a Tag Team Gauntlet match after a controversial pinfall against The Velocities – a win that many at the time were shocked about.
Now, we finally get the rematch in an MCW ring that many have been clamouring for.
On one hand, you have arguably the tag team of the year so far in The Parea – Eli Theseus and Gabriel Aeros who have been on a real roll over the last few months, and they are as adept in the ring as they are loud on the mic.
But the big intangible for them is that they are both entered in the Ballroom Brawl match – will they be able to focus on both the Velocities and the Ballroom Brawl? Only time will tell.
On the other hand, you have surely the standout tag team over the last few years across the Australian scene. Jude London and Paris De Silva have not only displayed their incredible skills across the nation, but also internationally as they faced teams like AEW’s Top Flight and NJPW’s Aussie Open within the last year.
Now they’re back to show the upstarts that despite their international attention, they aren’t done with the local scene.
This promises to be one of the most eagerly anticipated matches on the Ballroom Brawl card – two of Australia’s very best tag teams fighting for dominance!
Ballroom Brawl 2023 is SOLD OUT from the Thornbury Theatre – Saturday 8th July.
