There’s a new wave of talent emerging from right across Australia, and at Anniversary, we’re excited to put the spotlight on two wrestlers – one that MCW fans are very familiar with, and one making their MCW debut!
We welcome back Aysha into the MCW ring, who we last saw at Vendetta in August 2025, when she narrowly missed out on becoming the #1 Contender to the MCW Women’s Championship.
Now she returns, and this could be the first step for her in getting her hands on the title that has eluded her for so long. And it would be a foolish person who would bet against her; her performance at Vendetta showed that as good as she was, she noticeably levelled up in 2025.
More than ever, she’s living up to the First-Class title, as this version of Aysha is better, more experienced and smarter than the old, and that has got to be concerning for all the other women in the MCW locker room, and beyond.
But at Anniversary, Aysha has a familiar threat to deal with.
Making her MCW debut at Anniversary is Ari Nicole, and she arrives with quite a bit of buzz around her. The Fever Dream has gotten attention not just for her rapid progress in the ring, but also her combination of high energy and supreme fitness.
In fact, many are thinking that she could be the next big breakout star in Australian women’s wrestling. At Anniversary, she has the chance to show why the hype is real.
But here’s the thing – Aysha and Ari are very familiar with each other. They’ve battled in multiple promotions across the state in 2025, and now they bring their rivalry to the biggest stage in the country.
Their previous matches got rave reviews from the online critics, so there’s a great deal of anticipation to see what they can do at the Thornbury Theatre.
It’s First Class vs. the Fever Dream for the first time in an MCW ring, and we can’t wait for it!
