What’s going on with The Clydesdale?
He tries to get his former tag team partner Anth Cava fired through a tainted drug sample, he knocked Cava out with a trumpet, and perhaps most egregiously, he’s corrupted The Physicals!
There’s no denying his talent, but there’s also no denying that he’s gone off the deep end. And following his trumpet-assisted win against Cava at End Game, he’s still shooting his mouth off on social media.
We’re not surprised, but we also didn’t think we’d have to wait long before Cava looked for his revenge. But of course, The ‘Dale now has a couple of soldiers by his side in The Physicals.
Johnny Jetts and Jimmy Castle have built up quite the following in recent months, which is why it was such a shock to see them team up with Clydesdale.
We’re not yet sure why they’re now by his side but we do know that the three of them together make for a surprisingly formidable trio, especially if you’re one person out for retribution.
Then again, it’s not like Cava doesn’t have friends of his own, and to get his revenge at Anniversary, Cava has looked out west to two of Perth’s brightest young stars.
Over the last year, the MCW faithful has gotten very familiar with Lucas Fantasia, and the crowds havegotten right behind him with all of his flamboyance and skill. We know what he can do, and we know that anyone who underestimates him does so at their peril – just ask Lucky O’Leary.
And those in the Perth scene know just how good Jesse Lambert is – he’s won titles, he’s upset veterans, and he’s built a big following of his own! And while he’s made a few appearances in MCW, it’s fair to say that he’s never shown the local crowd just how good he is.
We think that might change at Anniversary!
Plus, there’s Anth Cava himself – a firm fan favourite, a success in two sports – wrestling and boxing, and a man on a mission – get revenge on the Clydesdale.
When he’s in this mood, no matter who you are, you don’t want to be on the other side of the ring.
So, at Anniversary, we have six of Australia’s hottest young talents in one ring, with former partners turned hated rivals right at the epicentre of the battle. This should be one to watch!
